About PAAC

The Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council (218 Iron Street, Downtown Negaunee) was incorporated in the State of Michigan on October 30th, 1973 to promote, produce and encourage the arts in all forms for the benefit of the residents of Marquette County and the surrounding area. Historical Status was acquired on July 22, 2005. Our By-Laws were updated and adopted on October 7, 2006. In October of 2006 we have adopted a mission statement which states that PAAC is here, To provide an environment for the expression of art and an opportunity for entertainment. We opened our Thrift Shop in June of 2007 on US 41 in Negaunee.

We are a community theatre, and welcome all who are interested to audition for any plays that we produce. We also encourage you to volunteer your time and talents. Our rules and regulations and code of ethics help everyone to have a safe and productive time. Awards are given for our actors and actresses.

A few times a year we publish a newsletter. The latest newsletter can be found here.

The Board of Directors holds regular meetings the first Tuesday of each month except January at 7:00 P.M. at the PAAC Offices in the basement of the Thrift Shop..
